Football Guy Hugh Freeze Coaches Liberty From A Hotel Room With A Walkie Talkie While Recovering From Back Surgery

You may have missed this, but Hugh Freeze is back. The ex-Ole Miss coach, who was shunned for his love of strippers/prostitutes while on recruiting trips, has been picked up by god-loving LIberty University.

Unfortunately for Hugh, he had an impromptu back surgery the other day:

This is not great news for Hugh, whose season starts in 8 days.

The question for Hugh has never been if he has the talent to coach. He is one of the best offensive minds in the game. These next 8 days are important for the installation of his offense. So, what is he doing? Coaching from his hotel room:

Freeze has been moved to a Fairfield Inn & Suites on the Liberty University campus, across the street from the Flames’ indoor practice facility. Stationed in a recliner, Freeze watches practice through a live feed and then radios his coaching points in through a walkie-talkie.

Hugh Freeze may have been out of the football game for awhile, but that doesn't mean his football guy spirit died. It's more alive than ever. Even inside a Fairfield Inn.
